Inspire a Generation

I always thought that fashion ultimatly inspired sportswear, but with the olympics entering and leaving our hearts as quickly as Mo farah’s gold medal times, I stand corrected.

In the past, sports brands such as Nike and Puma have collaborated with fashion designers and brands. These (1) Liberty Print Nike trainers are a perfect example of how fashion and sports have collided. Combining performance with style!

I always was put off running by the thought of having to wear thoes shiny alluminous footwear! Not any more! These are perfect for the style concious athlete. You can even customise youre own tops and shoes (2) with Nike, click here.

On the other hand, this year’s catwalks have shown a role reversal. The increasing demand for practical yet fashionable clothing has lead designers such as (4) Versus, (3) Stella McCartney and (5) Alexander Wang to be inspired by sports.

Ive always enjoyed dressing casual and comfortable but sometimes found it difficult to make it look stylish enough. So Im loving this new look!

Lets hope the weather lasts so we can continue to sport garments whoes purpose exceeds so much more than exercise.
